The 2011 Toyota Highlander broke cover this week at the Moscow Motor Show. It receives an updated front fascia, hood, fenders, grille and headlights. A familiar 3.5-liter gasoline V6 delivering 273 horsepower through a five-speed automatic transmission will be the only engine available on this model.
While this 2011 Highlander is not technically a U.S.-spec model, it’s expected that many of its updates will arrive Stateside as well. Part of the reason is because a Russia-specific model seems rather unlikely considering the limited number of factories where the Highlander is built.
As for the U.S. model, it’s expected that it will continue to be available with a 270 horsepower, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 187 horsepower, or a hybrid drivetrain.
